I live in SoCal and I’m sure some places are getting harder than others but this is by no means worse than we’ve seen in the last 10 years much less than since 1938, overhyped to the max..

Andy, I just talked to my sister in HB and she said not much going on there either. We will get it tomorrow in Idaho.

Yup. I agree. Way overhyped. We are in San Diego and this is no worse than an average afternoon Florida thunderstorm. We’re going up to Yucca Valley tomorrow where it was reported that the rains caused some severe flash flooding in the area, which is likely possible because that high desert hardpacked sand does not soak up water very well, but the really dangerous weather for you guys in Californian is your Wildfire Season, followed by your Landslide Season. If this rain had come after a wildfire, it would have caused a real problem, but so far, this has been a nothing burger.

And man your gas is really expensive. I paid almost $2.00 per gallon more in San Diego ($5.59) than I have in either FL ($3.67) or CT ($3.56). Gonna have to take out a loan to fill the tank if I stay here much longer. But at least you have In N Out Burgers everywhere to ease the pain.

We could have avoided it all together if we didn't burn fossil fuel.

I find that chain to be highly overrated. I've just not been able to become a fan. Here in AZ they seem to always have a line around the building, so there must be something to it but I am unable to appreciate whatever it is.

I heard most of Hillary's energy was expended over Benghazi!

But anyway. When I heard that LA could get 4 to 6 inches of rain, I was thinking that here in Louisiana we call that 'a good little rain'. But we have a flat landscape. That much rain in the mountains can be deadly with landslides and flash flooding. So, watch yourself OP, do let your guard down.

Yup over hyped, but we did get plenty of rain in Esco. My roof leak and had to climb it and fixed the tiles that slide in the middle of heavy rain.
