How can electronic devices be protected from radio interference?

What electronic devices do you bring when you off-roading/camping/hunting?
Do you have any practical ways of protecting electronic devices from being intervened by high frequency radio? It would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Braided/shielded cables are an easy solution. They tend to block out most of the interference in my experience. A buddy of mine wraps his radios in foil. Swears it works but I have yet to believe him… Maybe consider getting an antenna that’s specifically tuned to whatever frequencies you commonly use.

Another simple solution is moving to another spot and trying again, or putting something between you and whatever you’re getting interference from. If it’s power lines or another radio, move away from the source of the interference.

As mentioned earlier, attenuate your antenna(s) to the frequency you are using most often. Install dual antennae as far apart as practical; on the mirrors rahter than on the fenders or roof. Better CB radios have a calibration feature built in, and often have internal shielding. For the vehicle, install resistor plugs and shielded plug wires.

By "high frequency radio" do you mean ham radio transmitters that work in the 3.5-50 Mhz range? If so, operating at low power (5-10 watts) should cause no problem. Operating at higher power (100 watts) may cause interference which may be difficult to prevent if it's the RF causing the problem.

I operate a 50-watt VHF-UHF radio in my 2019 Ranger and it causes no interference.
