Slanted, non-opening wood tops with an ink well in the upper right corner The bldg was the former high school built in 1912(?). By ninth grade (1964) we moved into a new state of the art building with desks made for humans.

That building is now itself outdated and not used (no A/C, pool, or 500 seat theater).

Ha Ha, we had those desks too, must have been designed by an alien certainly didn't fit most humans of that age. And the inkwell hole - design must not have changed since the 1700's. I wonder where the quills were stored.

Yep that's what was wrong with ours too! Now 60 years later they tell me it was a health hazard.
