Of course soapstone has a double meaning and could translate to lye. But then again a lot of words in finland have double or triple meaning for which you need refer to context.

Suutari = Fish (Tinca tinca)
Suutari = Failed munition, explosion, UXO, etc. (can refer to some other failed stuff. Like "Laite oli suutari alusta asti" = "the machine was a failure from the begining").
