This initially sounds like a bunch of hyperbole, but then you remember that Musk bought the submarine Lotus used in The Spy Who Loved Me and you start thinking that he's crazy enough to try this.

Call him whatever, but he's certainly not afraid to take a risk or do something that has never been done before.

SpaceX is so far ahead of the other space companies and even NASA that it has rewritten the paradigm for launch vehicles.

That it has leapfrogged everyone this far in around 20 years is mind boggling.

But you do have to give Blue Origin credit for a "controversial" design.
