I'll never understand why some people think pitching a fit to the cashier is going to help anything.

When I do something that causes extra work and takes extra time for the cashier (missing price tag etc.) I will usually do this:

Me: I think I need to add a candy bar to my order, but not sure what I want. What's your favorite?

Cashier tells me their favorite. I say Excellent choice and I grab one of those.

They ring me up and I give them the candy bar and say thanks for handling my issue.

It never fails to get a look of confusion and then a BIG smile.

It's a little thing that goes a long way.

Yes, and all the time we are proving we are not a robot, we are teaching AI to solve those tests.
For example, when it asks "Select all pictures with a bicycle" we are teaching the AI to recognize bicycles.
