Hello all,

For those that are interested in speed/times. Just thought this might be useful info for some folks.
https://tfltruck.com/2017/11/much-passenger-slow-truck-vs-car-comparison-video/

If I ever hit the track, I will remove my hitch receiver (40 pounds), hitch armor (20 pounds), wooden bed I made (20-40 pounds) whatever else laying around the back/truck bed (10-20 pounds), rear seat delete if I really care that much (5-10 pounds), truck topper (120-150 pounds) and a half tank of gas or less (9 gallons x 6 pounds per gallon= 54 pounds). Total weight reduction = 250~ pounds conservatively. I always notice a difference when I have a passenger inside so any weight reduction for possible track times is great.

TLDR: 230 pounds resulted in 6-9% change roughly in 0-60 times. The higher end % is in a lighter vehicle with less power.

100%.

Always knew it was a difference but wasn’t sure the exact or relatively exact differences.
