I had posted a comment on these photos earlier but deleted it as my mind ? took me to a very bad place.Ok, I'm a junior CSI guy at best here, but I don't like what I'm seeing ?...
Now , I don't really know exactly where all these innards go , I put them back inside and thought ? "that looks right " but it could have been any other turkey really, so I'll just have to take Sysco's word on it...
The neck is a different story, and Sysco's lack of maintenance tells it(a good sharp blade would have made my observation impossible)
The meat flaps DO NOT line up at all and there is NO WAY this neck belonged to this turkey ...
TlDR bottom line is I'm cooking at least 2 turkeys this Thanksgiving...

Yup, I lived in Metairie (down town)for a couple of years. I owned a large Traveling Nurse company. MY Ford Truck was stolen. The Police returned it, then I parked it in front of my apartment and a lady came over the bridge and hit it at 55 mph. The bed hit the cab and bent the roof. By the way, They filmed Saturday night live at Jackson Square and I saw Gilda Radner and John Belushi. The next day I saw Henry Winkler …All during Mardi Gras …Fun !Sounds good to me!
We’ll have to be real careful about parking at Jackson Square. Many years ago, my sister & I parked on one of the side streets. When we came back, my car was gone. Someone had stolen my car! Freaked out, I called my dad. He asked if I had parked in a no parking spot. I looked & low & behold it said no parking! Now I was young, but not stupid. I never would have parked there if it said no parking. I mean, we all know from watching cartoons that those signs can be changed. Hello…?
Wow! Yes, not a boring moment around there. I never saw anyone famous, but dad didn’t want us to go there at night. We would be sitting in his living room and hear gunshots and he didn’t live in a “bad” part of town.

Hope you had a good Thanksgiving there and that's good mpg for the trip! What did you use to oil the underside? Now that I'm not in AZ anymore I might have to consider doing this. They say winters aren't to bad out here but they do get some snow on occasion and I'm not sure what they treat the roads with.And you as well. Drove my Ranger to MI and back, 25.3 mpg.
