Bought a PSA JAKL to compare to my ACR. Palmetto State Armory bought Remington arms, which includes the ACR, so think of it as old school ACR and new school “ACR”. Also ordered an IWI Carmel to compare them side by side. Each will have a Vortex Razor 1-6 in a Warne mount so things are relatively even, although the ACR has a Geiselle trigger, I swapped a Triggertech into the JAKL, and there are no current aftermarket Carmel options yet.

Also have 3 bolt gun builds in process. Two lightweight builds with titanium actions and MDT carbon fiber chassis’s in 6ARC and 6.5PRC, as well as a heavier build with stainless action and American Defense chassis in .223. These might be another 3-8 months in the making tho.

Glock 30S.......sweet shooter! Great choice!
I bought it used. Looked like it had never been fired, was very clean inside and put. Came with trijicon night sights installed and 4 mags. It's an easy shooter, and fits in my pocket, but 11 rou ds of 45 pulls my pants down.

Night sights and extra mags is always good! 11 rounds of 45acp?.......yep, itll lower your beltline a bit! LOL As Chris said.....gotta cinch that belt up a lil tighter!

I went down the 375 Raptor blackhole for a custom bolt action then gave up on it. I already didn't want to wait for a large bore suppressor then I found out it's a year and half backorder for reloading dies (for a wildcat cartridge no less). I am sure it is awesome for its specific purpose but I lost my patience when I heard that.

I have an MDT chassis for a custom bolt action I'm building. It's plain old 300 blackout but I already have everything for that caliber so it's no sweat. As soon as Mos-tek makes the barrel I'm ready to go.

As far as dies are concerned......Hornady in Grand Island (to my best knowledge) will make you a custom set of dies for your rifle......all you have to do is send in 5 or 6 fired case and they'll make a set of dies for it! Might want to call them and confirm but many precision loaders here have them make them!

That is pretty nice but then I have to get the whole thing together, get some loaded ammo ("sorry, out of stock") and then start the waiting period.

I may still order the 375 dies once I get this new one together to keep me occupied and then try to forget I ordered them. If the ATF would do batch approvals I could skip the waiting for the suppressor too, but to my knowledge they don't anymore since e-forms and even before it was completely random/rare.

ATF isn't gonna make things simple or quick. LOL Used to be ATF agents were assigned states and they did the checks for their assigned state.....not anymore.....not efficient at all!

I had a lonely AR15 lower floating around without an upper, and I have been looking for the cheapest aluminum receiver upper I could lay my hands on. I almost pulled the trigger on a PSA 16" "M4" style upper for $149.99, but I had just bought a charging handle and BCG, and I've been trying to trickle this stuff in under the wife's credit card radar. Well, Primary Arms had a 24-hour special on a mid-length 16" upper with a 15" mlok handguard - so I was bad and ordered it!

I have a handful of AR things floating around in boxes that I've dug out. This will be a bit of a poverty-spec rifle with leftover Magpul FDE pistol grip, collapsible stock, sling, and MBUIS. I'm also going to slap an older EOtech on it that I've had sitting on a .22 plinker upper for my SBR. I also have a 2000-lumen Olight MR2 Warrior light lying around that will go on this rifle. Just because life is too short to shoot ugly guns, I will be ordering some FDE mlok grip panels and an FDE Magpul mlok AFG so that I have some FDE color evenly distributed on my "leftovers" gun. This will be a general range toy, but will also most likely be stashed in an area accessible to my bedroom as a home defense rifle. I'm a little hesitant to keep my SBR not locked up and secured. Pics to follow soon!

All done!

All I purchased to finish this out were:
BCG
Charging handle
Assembled 16" mlok upper
Vertical grip
mlock covers
Magpul mlok sling loop attachment
AIRSOFT Eotech (But wait! There is a reason!)

I already had a built-out PSA lower that I put together in 2021 with the Magpul stuff I had from a previous patrol rifle (I had my own stuff on an agency, Rock River SBR). The Eotech I bought back in 2007 was on my patrol rifle for a while. I bought a CHEAP airsoft Eotech knockoff just for the tan-colored hood and swapped it over to the REAL Eotech! And don't judge me for the olight! LOL, I actually ran that on my Daniel Defense patrol rifle for a while and it did well at 2000 lumens.

Friend of mine retired LEO gave me 450 once fired 9mm. Picked up 250 9 mm cases at the club. Finished loading them yesterday pm. 700rds added to an ammo can! Life is good!
