but the article is good news for those wanting to obtain a CC license in the state of NY. Good for them, and thanks to a conservative Supreme Court.

soap box: all the anti gun stuff is just a twisted narrative for foolish people. if someone beat me to death with a toaster oven does that mean we outlaw toaster ovens.... plain and simple fear mongering for political power and issues. legal gun sales have nothing to do with crimes or murders of any cogent connection. we are being fed the equivalent of maggots and flys are the cause of garbage cans.
the "assault" weapons rhetoric is also clown shoes. Class 3 weapons are not for sale to the general public . they have not been. the majority of big box store gun dealer stores like academy bass pro shops etc. do not even bother trying to offer them to sell to the limited number of persons who can legally purchase true machine guns and assault weapons. not much profit in it. class 3 dealers are thoroughly vetted as are the customers of them who are typically govt agencies and law enforcement almost exclusively. the laws already exist to deal with these problems but instead of supporting and enforcing those we get endless chastisement from the elites despite being honest law followers that have committed no crimes. taking forks away from healthy eaters will not stop some people from being fat bastards.

i wish others would be so aware. i cant get into details on the setting or job but i was involved in a discussion with the target audience for media yesterday and they were 100% shocked when I informed them that class 3 weapons were not open for general sale, could not legally be bought by kids and teenagers and have extreme levels of back ground checks and vetting. many flat called me a liar until i put up the ATF web page and showed them the laws and dates they were put in place. the looks on faces was like the look id have if i got kicked in the junk and hit the power ball lotto at the same time. they were totally shocked that the news was not telling them the truth. pretty sad actually.

I've been enjoying the " seethe and schadenfreude " all day on the news, and yes the media and government lie continually about firearm laws and the numbers of " bad uses " to the general uneducated public, it's more than sad, it should be criminal.

It's about damn time they finally heard a case, 10 years is much to long to keep letting this go. The only sad part is it was a 6-3 ruling when it should've been a 9-0 if they all did their job and followed the Constitution.

This ones a very fine line of getting political but I think we all can be careful here and have a civil, non political discussion here.
