:like: Just in case he can't do it legally, I think there's enough of us here on R5G to smuggle him over. I volunteer to take all his guns and ammo over. ✋?
Be warned, and I am not joking when I say....

You are going to need a much bigger truck. LOL

The ammo shortage hit hard here about a decade ago, so I started buying by the case. Every time I opened a new case, I ordered 2-3 more. That went on for about 10 years and I was shooting 8-10K round a year. My stack is absurd. Buy it cheap, stack it deep.

Got mags? This is ?7 years ago, and maybe double that now :)

Thats a pretty sporty start on the mags!

I got into the habit of buying all new PMags every season of competition so that I had fresh springs and crisp/clean looking mags. Old mags went into the cabinet for storage. Amazing how many you can acquire over 10 years of competition when you had a bunch to start with!

I also have a DDM4V7 and PWS PCC 9" (Primary Weapons Systems Pistol Caliber Carbine) a blowback Glock mag AR pistol.

Both are dressed the same, Magpul ACS, Magpul K2, Magpul Pro BUIS, Magpul MS QD slings, Aimpoint T2 & PRO, Radian Raptor charging handle, S&S IFM, Surefire KL4 & KM2, Surefire DS-SR07-D-IT & UE-SR01-NK, and Battle Arms development ambi safety selectors. They are deep in the safe though, and way too much work to dig them out for a new photo but here is a dated photo of the back ends. (government made them illegal to use/shoot 2 years ago).

gotta love a 1911. sidearm as the big man intended lol.
9mm 1911 is my favorite platform to shoot, but only until they get dirty and are more prone to jams. No more than ~200 rounds or so before I start to worry about a load/eject failure and I end up cleaning them between courses. PITA!

I have well over 10K rounds through multiple Glocks with zero cleaning at all. Nothing, nada, not a patch down the barrel or wipe down of anything. You can beat on those things non-stop and they just keep going. It's truly amazing what they are capable of. Also the cross platform mag use is awesome. I have 7 or 8 handguns and long guns that all use 9mm Glock mags.

Canada's funky rules, say that a rifle mag can only be 5 rounds, but a pistol mag can be 10. Not which it is used in, but which it is designed for. P-mags are rifle mags and have to be pinned to 5, but LAR mags like the MFT yellow mags, or the grey metal mags coupled together in my photo are 10 rounds and not pinned. I have p-mags for zombies, but use the MFT for competition. The black extension, or couplers make them handle similar to a half loaded 30 rounder. That keeps me from going to crazy on P-mags, because they'll never get used here, unless the zombies finally invade ;)

nothing feels more natural in my hands than a 1911. jmb really did his home work on the grip and angle etc. i like the glocks as well but see them as a tool. they work very well just are not exciting lol.
