I have noticed that ammo prices are creeping down...at least 9mm. Found some TulAmmo and Wolf for $9.99/box. The paycheck hits the bank tomorrow!!! Looks like another 1000 rnds!
Target Sports USA
I bought ammo during the shortgage with email notifications when ammo was in stock and paid more.
I paid $15.35 for Lawman 380 and today it's $13.79 at TargetsportsUSa with prime membership. Same with higher priced than now 9mm. I bought a lot of both calibers not knowing how long the shortage would be.
Target and others still don't have many brands in stock but prices are down.

I got lucky and bought my 1000 rnds just before the jump. I have decided to wait another week before purchasing another 1000. Maybe they will creep down a little more.

But I have done gone and registered on www.gunbrokers.com and already put a bid in on a 590 Shockwave .410 that I have been promising for the wife. Last time I seen one in stock at a decent price, I waited too long to jump on it and it was gone by the time I got home. Plus if I can get the .410 at a good price, I can get myself something too! ?:bandit:

There's a few good Memorial Day sales going on. If anyone needs any AR 30 round mags these are Korean Steel mags but have good reviews on the website. There's a limit of 26 and at $5.50/each I think I'm going to get a few more. Not that I need them but if/when there's another ban these will be worth a lot more. I priced out 20 mags and the shipping is a flat rate $12.95 so $122.95 total, not bad for 20 AR 30 round mags.

Don Hume holsters are 25% off. I'm waiting to see if MidwayUSA runs a sale. There's an IWB holster my wife has for her LCPII and wants for the Glock 42.

Relentless Tactical is also having a 25% off sale this weekend too on all their holders.... code MEM25. I have one the their OWB holsters for my 1911 and right now with the discount they're only $33.75. These are very good quality leather holsters with a lifetime warrantee made right here in the USA!

This is the only I bought 3 years ago.

Wonderful quality feel but the Kahr MK9 racking is pretty tough when lining up the lines for the breakdown pin removal. Kahr forum posts told me to rack the slide many times and leave the slide locked for a couple of days. Got to practice over and over. When cleaning is done, hands are slippery too. LOL
The P380 wasn't bad and you would think it would be because it's smaller. The MK9 has a dual captive recoil spring and the P380 doesn't. Recoil springs are much heavier on the MK9.

The procedures above are also recommended to help the break in without the 200 rounds recommended by Kahr.

So I took my wife to the range and to my surprise, she cannot rack the new guns I bought. The LCP 2 and the Smith & Wesson Bodyguard. I'm probably going to trade a Smith & Wesson Bodyguard or sell it. I just bought a Kimber 1911 380 for me so now I have 1911's in all three calibers. I also bought her a Smith & Wesson EZ 380. I'm sure she'll be able to rack that. The Smith & Wesson 380 was only $326 shipped. The easy was 300 something as well. So I probably would get rid of the p365 and maybe the M&P Shield Performance Center.

Glad your wife can rack the new ones because you'd be selling those too. lol I had the Sig P238 and it was a nice gun but sold it to a friend of mine right before I moved out here,he wanted it for his girlfriend. I think I only put 150 rounds through it but being so close to a 9mm and more expensive I didn't feel the need to keep it.

You should keep at least one of those before selling both of them. They're really good carry guns and sometimes you want a light gun when it's hot in the summer and a 1911 gets heavy.

Edit: We're going out shooting today so I will finally get to shoot the new P365 XL and the Springfield 1911 along with the Rugged Obsidian 9 suppressor. I think it's been a month since the last time I was out and have collected those last 3 since then. lol

Please let us know how the P365 XL shoots. I really want to make it MY next gun, unless of course I can get the Browning 1911-380 at a great price. But first, the Mossberg Shockwave for the wife is priority.?
