GPS mounting location

I'm curious why you didn't choose to run Carplay from your phone's GPS and display to dash monitor?

Didn't your Lariat come standard with GPS? If so, why do you feel the need to have two GPS?

All good points but the purpose of the posting is just to let people know about the product not to discuss phone operating systems. It could be used to mount anything. Thanks for the input.

I’m just going to say it. That looks awful! The cab is already a bit crammed together then to add this, it’s awful. I’m glad op likes it. But that isn’t a good product!

I see some valid points raised by others. I haven't see anyone mention that this mount, if bumped hard enough could crack the infotainment screen, seeing how it's clipped behind the frame and against the lower portion of the screen.

That would be an expensive replacement.
