Thought I would post for you fellow mod guys.
Bought the RB20’s from a local dealer and took them home to install as they wanted $100 to install. Removed the factory hoop steps using a couple jack stands with no issue.
Unboxed the RB20s and pulled the instructions. In short the instructions were terrible and barley legible. It took me about 2 hours to install as I had to swap the front brackets due to confusion on what bracket went on which side. Nothing was labeled and the front brackets were side specific, the remaining 4 brackets were exactly the same.
Still not sure I didn’t get the wrong brackets for the passenger side and will call Go Rhino on Monday. Seems they can be installed either way with narrower side up front like I did or flipped around with the wider side up front?? Not sure what is “correct” but to hide the sliding brackets inside the step I had to mount the tapered end up front.
With better instructions these would have been a breeze to install and are well made and look great. They should just label the mounting brackets driver or passenger side.
Overall look is great in my opinion even if I have them on Backwards?? They are beefy and have a nice amount of adjustment.
