It will remove oil and gunk from re-entering the intake but I'm hoping the water from adding to the oil. The beauty is a Ford part made for the Ranger which shouldn't void the warranty.

I needed one of these because mine was leaking. It was replaced under warranty. I may be wrong here, but I believe the replacement looked different from the original. It took 3 weeks for Franklin Ford to get it in.
