Future Ford Maverick Competitor At $23K?

What the price of EV batteries now that every manufacturer is pushing all electric. I read somewhere the materials for the batteries could go up 1000%.

The next innovation will be the battery material. They need one from more abundantly available minerals. The next environmental disaster is going the be EV waste an how it's polluting our water tables.

CATL I believe has a working sodium ion battery in a Chinese ev, might be just the thing, cheaper, faster recharge and more environmental friendly than lith-ion

I'd put my money on Toyota in the long run. Better work force, and better quality. I've looked at a Tesla, and found sloppy seam fit and finish. While the technology is impressive, execution should be better.

I have both Ranger and Maverick hybrid. The Ranger is my daily driver and Maverick is my wife’s daily driver, she more miles. The Mav has 40 plus mpg lifetime average so far. The Mav drives great but my Ranger drives better!!!

My daughter has a Maverick and gets mid 40's as well, and she is at 3,000' of elevation in the Smokies. She likes it for it's utility and lack of appetite for gas.
