Maybe welcome her with a genuine hug and kiss. Could scare her off forever or make her love you just a little bit more.;)
Oh that's a big negative, without getting to much in to it that bridge burned long ago.

Well you could always give her a hug with a hand grenade and slip it into her purse. :bandit:?

Tempting, but my grenades are awfully hard to come by these days and I'm saving up for a fishing trip late next month

So my hag in law is going to be staying with us for a fairly significant amount of time and I'm looking for some fun borderline mean pranks to play on her. We don't get along at all so the more annoying the better.

So far my best / worst prank to date was injecting some leftovers with Carolina reaper and waiting for her to steal said leftovers and I'm looking to top that. Thanks in advance
Not a fan of pranks, and certainly not those that could hurt someone...especially someone my wife loves.
Imagine what might happen if you took the high road and treated her as if she were welcome...
Even if you've already gone that route, it's never wrong to take the high road when possible.
I hope things go better than you imagine during her extended stay. Good luck!

The beauty about this route, is that she'll drive herself nuts trying to figure out what traps you've laid for her. Her own imagination will be your greatest ally, and you've got complete and total plausible deniability because she'll never be able to prove that you did anything (since you didn't). You can plant the seeds by giving her the most saccharine welcome imaginable; the worst that you can get blamed for is "insincere sincerity", which you're probably already on the hook for anyway. When the wife confronts you about it, you get to say, "Honey, I'm doing my best. You know that we don't get along, but for you, I'm doing my best...."
