My Apple Watch Series 5 arrives next Monday. Can't wait to try this out. I ordere the GPS/LTE Version so shouldn't need the iPhone nearby!

I just tried this for the hell of it and it doesn't work. The Apple Watch will have to be connected to your iPhone in order for you to use the Ford Pass watch app. When trying to send a command while using the Apple Watch on cellular, the app just crashes. I tried it with my watch connected to my home wifi, but not the iPhone, and the same thing happens.

I find that using the watch to remote start is only around 50% reliable. Not sure why this is. So I usually just get my phone out if I really need it started.

While it is connected to your iPhone. Turn bluetooth off in your iPhone settings so that the Apple Watch has to use cellular and see if it still works.

I don't have cellular on my watch and it won't work. App will not even open on the watch.

I have the series 1. iOS is update and ford pass is update yet when I try to load the app on the watch, it spins for a few seconds then goes back to the home screen. I’ve tried repairing, resetting the entire watch, uninstall and reinstall the app. Has anyone else had these issues or had any fixes? Thanks!

my iPhone works 100% of the time to start my truck, but the watch i'm lucky if it works 10%. I usually just use my phone now...

Was having a problem getting the FordPass app to work on my watch. Latest version works fine. Can, lock, unlock and start all from watch. Really cool to use watch to start the truck.
‘Watch is a series 3 with watchOS 6
