Although this video isn't about the ranger it was awfully familiar with the issue some have had with water getting into the boot after heavy rain. Just thought I'd share because i found it interesting.

Good video Matt and it should be helpful to others. Hope you don't mind but I added the video to your post. I know many (myself included but I did it for the team ?) don't like clicking on strange links.

BTW How's the Bronco going? Have you been to the beach or off road with it?

Oh yeah! This is a super common problem! 5cyl colorado, chevy, dodge, any engine that sits cylinders under that threshold have this issue. At the shop we would use old hoses to try and clamp, screw, glue on to redirect water to the sides. Its just a hard spot to make waterproof.

Thanks for adding the video. I'll have to look into doing that next time. I don't like clicking strange links as well.

Bronco has been great so far! Been to the beach several times and this coming weekend I'm going with the local rangers group to an adventure park here in Texas. It'll be my first time going off roading in any vehicle so I'm pretty stoked.

That's great I'm glad you're enjoying it! Take some pics when you go off road and post them as I'd love to see how it does and how you like going off road with it. I'm still hoping to get mine next year and will be moving it to another dealer so hopefully that'll help.

Will do! Hopefully by the time you get yours the community is better and there will be more options out there for parts.

I just hope I get it while I'm still able to drive. lol

It looks like there's some good option already for aftermarket parts. This guy here has some good stuff and has been pretty active on B6G and most there seem to like his products.

If you click on his store you'll see all his stuff. He has the rubber pieces that cover the rear seats which are nice to protect them. They just velcro right on the back of the seat so you can remove them if you need to clean them. It's great if you have the back seat down a lot and/or dogs back there.
