My folks used to have a 4-door Granada and that thing was a freaking tank.
The 2-door ones our local dealer fixed up with a wheel package and some decals to become a "Henry County Coupe". At the time (1976-ish) it was kind of bad-ass.
Or so I thought at the tender age of 15.
What year Granada was it?
The car's body was somewhat stout, but the dashboard was an all plastic based unit, whereas the Falcon and Maverick's (upon which the car was based) were steel based.
The rubbing of plastic components against each other created a concert of rattles and squeaks like you would not believe, judicious spritzes of spray silicane lubricant usually got rid of them.
The Fox platform vehicles (Fairmont/Zephyr-Mustang/Capri) were much better with squeaks, but rattles still abounded with them.

I'd run screaming like a lil school-girl if I saw that! LOL I hate snakes........of any kind! Anything that moves that quick and doesn't have legs should die! LOL
Same here, so glad we don't have those critters here in Hawaii...although I have come across some 2 legged serpents in my life...:frown:

What they call the Mach E. Which seams to be a good vehicle but will never be a Mustang
"They lost it when they called the van a Mustang."

The Mach E is available as a van?

1976-77, I think.
I was 15 in '76 and my mom used to let me drive it some when I got my learners permit.
I don't remember it rattling or squeaking.

Probably because all the components had "settled in" by the time you got to drive it.
Was it a 6 or V8? Stick or automatic?
If I remember correctly a manual transmission was standard equipment, but 99% of them were automatics.
I once owned a '76 2 door briefly with a 302 and 4 speed stick, it was fun...

It was a V8 automatic.
