We have been VERY busy at the end of the year with our Extended Warranty sales! Thank you to everyone who has referred friends/family!
The factory warranty on my 2019 Ranger expired but I just got a letter from Ford about the CSP warranty. Is that not a good warranty and what is the difference between what is sold while it is still under the factory warranty?

CSP is not as comprehensive and is something that is licensed. If you have under 80,000 miles the ESP is the way to go. email [email protected] and we can verify eligibility.

Does Ford Protect cover “wear and tear”? All of the 3rd party warranties I’ve had before use that silly clause to deny every repair, even if the part is listed as covered.

For example, alternator quits charging: “We’re sorry the brushes wore out and it’s not covered”.

Power window regulator stops moving: “We’re sorry if it’s broken in pieces we will cover it but yours is just worn out”

Engine has high oil consumption, and this is a known issue on that engine: “We’re sorry if the piston is thru the block we will cover it - but worn piston rings are not covered”

In each of these cases I had to pay out of pocket to have the work done because the warranty kept saying what I had was “worn out”.

FWIW this was through Endurance so not a factory warranty.

thanks!

I think that is why the Ford warranty is more highly-regarded. Outside of abuse, lack of maintence, etc. Repairs are covered the same way your factory warranty covers your vehicle. You'll also only have Ford parts put back on them rather than a non-oem part.

Ford wants you to purchase your next Ford from them, they also make the parts so their net cost is much cheaper than a 3rd party and they want you to come back as a customer.

As we wrap up the final days of the year, we want to thank everyone for making us the #1 online provider of Ford Protect Extended Warranties!

If it wasn't for your word-of-mouth and referrals we wouldn't have been able to accomplish this. So a Big Thank You!

Thank you Zach,

I do my own maintenance (oil, spark plugs, trans fluid, etc.). Same for brakes and suspension like shocks and pads/rotors.

Does this mean that as long as I keep receipts, and photos of the work, then I’ll be good in case a maintenance-related question comes up?

I just purchased the 10/175k plan from your rep, Maria Grimm, and look forward to referring your team for other friends and family that have Ford vehicles!

Yes, that would keep you more than protected. The only time I'd anticipate having an issue is in a case like the following:

You have a check engine light and there is a cylinder head issue, the valve covers and cylinder heads show signs of sludge buildup, which would be evidence to a lack of proper oil changes.

If a situation like that happened, Ford would ask for proof of maintenance.

I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen this and I can tell you in each circumstance, there was undoubtedly a lack of proper vehicle maintenance (no oil changes, or 20k miles between oil changes). If you do the right thing and maintain your vehicle properly, I wouldn't be worried about it at all.

Last month was record breaking so we are offering a special again this month. The extended warranty will be at our cost for March. We appreciate all the support from this team.

If the vehicle is still in factory coverage, you can do everything via our site. www.grangerfordextendedwarranty.com

If it is a used Ford (less then 10 years old, and less then 80k miles) then you will need to email the team at [email protected] and they will get you a quote!

Just now learning of this and wanted to check it out. 2 issues though. The website says purchase up to 41 months after the sale of the vehicle but does not list 2020. I bought my 2020 10-23-2020 (if my math is correct I have until the 23rd of this month till 41 months is up. It only has 17,000 miles on it. Issue #2. I don’t see Florida listed as a choice when picking a state of purchase (I put in 2021 just to check out details but never got beyond the state of purchase. Can you elaborate on these issues?
EDIT. I also emailed. I forgot I purchased it in Alabama as a Florida resident.

if you click on the link he provided, it takes you to a price chart. lots of variables. length, protection level, deductible, etc.

@Rod B I just pm'd you. Cali and Florida have strict laws so those states aren't options on the drop down menu online. The 2020 option went away to allow for the 2025 options, but if you email our team they can definitely take care of you to get the new plan! [email protected]
