Ford Pass - Vehicle Location Issue

Recently purchased a new Ranger - when trying to use the car location feature on the app it says my car is still in Wayne, MI (not where it is located) and last updated in October.

Has anyone had this issue? Quick fix or will this require a trip to the dealer?

Everything else seems to update fine when refreshed except for the location. I find it odd that it says it is still located at the assembly plant in Michigan...

Check out page 335 of the Owner's Manual, it goes over connected vehicle requirements. Your dealer may not have set it up for you. Worth a shot.

I just bought my ranger on Monday, and struggled with this until today. I would "update" the location and it would go back to the MI plant last located on Dec 16.
1. Go on to the sync touch screen settings, there will be one for Fordpass, then connectivity. Then you have to manually turn on the GPS location. You have to allow it to send the GPS to ford's servers.

Also, my fordpass did not have the lock/unlock and auto start on the home screen. I had to manually (USB) update to the new sync software via ford's website download to get that to show up. Everything works great now.
