Ford financing with military rebate

Anybody ever have any issues with getting the $500 military rebate WITH Fords incentive financing? I can't see anything about it in the fine print, but my dealer is now telling me that since Ford already paid out/financed my truck (I got locked into a great rate from when I ordered it months ago), they can't redo the contract and that I'd have to pay the dealer the $500 so they can pay Ford. Seemed odd and I was wondering if anybody every ran into this issue.

Mine was worked into the contract when I bought the truck.

The finance company paid the dealer what they were owed. It’s the price they gave on contract. They accepted the deal. Now they want you to give them an additional 500 bucks.. thanks but no thanks unless you’re feeling generous.
