Why are there so many weird models of this truck in Europe and Australia? They all seem to incorporate half-arsed versions of the FX4 package or other optional paid extras.

Definitely not losing popularity in Australia, the Ranger was the second highest selling vehicle nationally last year.

Where can I get a set of those bedside cleats from the Wolftrack?

I am away on holidays for a few days but can get you some part numbers when I get home. Those bed hooks are standard on base models targeted at tradies who use their trucks for work. I can also get you some photos of the mounts in the bed if you want.
