Fog light bulb swap

Hey y'all! Looking to swap out my stock fog light bulbs for a set I bought on Amazon. Anyone done this yet? Looks to be a bit more complex if anyone can give me some tips and tricks for this! TIA

Easier than it sounds if you have dainty hands. What kind of lights, what kind of truck?

crawl under truck and twist bulb holder out; replace bulb; put back in and twist lock in place is general way.

Yes and it is easy if you do not have the FX4 skid plate. If you do it is going to be a pain, at least from what I have read. I have a 2wd XLT and it took more time getting on the ground than it did to change both bulbs. I am a large man with fat hands and had no issues. Good luck!

If you have an FX4 - REMOVE the skid plate and it allows for much easier access.....first time I did it I didnt realize this and almost gave up trying to reach the bulbs from underneath - you practically need to be a contortionist with very small hands.
Next time I removed the skidplate and literally just reached up and changed both in less than 10 minutes.

If you’ve ever replaced them you will know it is NOT that easy.

this old fat guy did it. took me longer flopping around like a shot walrus than actually changing the bulbs. love how bright they are.
