ebay warning on wheel center caps

I bought 4 wheel center caps that were said to fit but they did not fit my 2022 ford bronco 16" steelies. I Contested the charge with credit card company after the seller refused to do anything and I got a refund but then I noticed that the recharged my card and i have not gotten a letter yet. I have proof these don't fit and he is misleading folks in thinking they do. be warned:

well i am not making it up. they just are not long enough on the clips to snap in place.....

Sometimes information gets mixed up. With how often ford changes little things, it's not too much of a stretch to find part numbers suddenly not matching.

did you contact ebay and make a dispute? typically ebay sides with buyers over sellers.

Not always. I bought a windshield for a motorcycle that was listed to fit and it didn't. eBay sided with seller. That was end of me and eBay. Windshield is still in the garage haven't found anyone to take it yet.

I quit ebay almost 6 or 7 years ago. Too much BS.

I will only buy something on Amazon now because returns and refunds are guaranteed, no questions asked.

everywhere i look, besides his ad, says they fit only the rangers. remember, i have a ranger but with bronco wheels. his ad says these fits ranger, f150s, broncos. they don't fit my 2022 ford bronco oem wheels.......

2022 Bronco wasn't listed since you mentioned you have the OEM wheels.


AB3Z-1130-D replaced part KB3Z-1130-C.

kb3c-1015-db

as stamped on all 5 wheels. one is a spare.

my credit card company came back this morning saying i did not provide the requested info and the merchant said "confirmation showing no return per policy was received."

the thing is, this merchant does not allow returns.

"seller does not accept returns".

I replied to him from my mobile a few times with pics etc, and those didnt' get through it seems- i have no records of those. I do have records showing my findings abt the part number not showing fitting a ford bronco. I eventually gave up dealing with him due to his lack of response and thought my credit card would take care of it. Guess not. Lesson learned.

I am now doing the ebay guaranteed thing.......wish me luck.

the fact is, he advertised something that he said fit a bronco, and it does not. he kept sending me pix of ranger steel wheels and these cap- it appears- but again, i have bronco wheels. is there a difference? it seems there is as I cannot find the above cap part number fitting any bronco. In pics or google searches. And there is no way these things will clear the hubs even if you were able to get the clips to engage on the back ends of the hub bore. That's what my installer told me.

welp, no luck. i already filed the dispute with my credit card it says... anyhow, i am past the 30 day window- i thought cap one would understand the seller sold me something that is misrepresented but i guess not. I will be calling cap one back again.

The cap for the 2022 Bronco looks a lot different compared to the other seller's cap.

I'm not referring to the Bronco logo. Look at the cap itself.

Exactly. And I actually got 4 of those from other sellers and they work perfectly. The guy who sold me the ones that don't work didn't reply for a while and them after I ordered the proper ones he replied saying ship old ones and he would ship correct ones. By that time I already contested charge due to his lack of response.
