Driver side rear wiring harness

Was checking under the back of mine and found a 2 wire connector attached to the left (driver side) rear frame just above and behind the rear spring mount. Does Amy one know what this connector is for?
my thought it is for either a rear mount stop light for a camper, or for bed lights.

have not put a multimeter to it yet to see if it is constant or controlled hot So if anyone knows please sound off!
