So, I purchased a used 2024 Ford Ranger Lariat 4x4 off road. Fully loaded. Love all the bells and whistles BUT. When I engage the Cruise control the auto lane keeper engages also. Love that feature also but it constantly alert to keep hands on steering wheel. Even if you have hands on the steering wheel but don’t move the wheel it still alerts. Very annoying. Any work around?

One must ask.....what do you want to do with your hands, other than keep them on the steering wheel ????? What plans do you have for your hands ????? :giggle:

Disable lane keeping by pushing the button on the end of the turn signal stalk.

A 2024 model. The 6g forum will likely have your answer.
Just an fyi
The lane assist is on the left hand side of steering wheel buttons, it is the right button on the cruise control, controls. Left for on/off button up to set/increase, button down for set/slow, push in for cancle/resume

I always hear this argument about "what are you going to do with your hands instead?" I have this same situation where I'd love to disable that stupid chime. I drive far and straight to work, long sections where my hands are on the wheel but there are no curves, lane changes to be made and the alignment is perfect so it's tracking straight. I then get an annoying chime and have to jerk the steering wheel to shut it off and then correct the turn it forced me to make on a straight freeway.
