I am watching for a used decked system for my 5' bed Ranger. the Ranger model number is MF3. Does anyone know if other midsize 5' bed decked systems would fit in the ranger? I did contact decked, they replied same day which is great. They said they may fit with modifications, but they cant recommend it. I am wondering if it has to do with the securement methods between trucks. Not sure if the "deck" is same dimension.
Other similar size trucks, and respective decked model numbers
Tacoma MT7
Frontier MN3
Colorado MG3
Ranger MF3
Model number decoding. M, for midsize, T, N, G, F for truck mfr., and then there is the number. maybe it is a size thing, or a mounting / securement thing. Maybe the 3's are pretty similar, or even identical, and the 7 (Tacoma) is the oddball.
All theories welcomed, even ridiculous ones.
