I've never had an adaptive cruise control except now with the ranger. If I'm going down a hill, it will automatically break to stay close to the set speed of the cruise control. Normally, in other cars, it will just not speed up since momentum is speeding it up but the hill breaking is getting annoying. Is there anyway to turn this off in settings? Forscan? I love the adaptive on the highway, just not hills!

That's not specific to the adaptive cruise. Regular cruise does that as well in this truck. I personally like it, better than letting the truck run wild and just keep gaining and gaining speed. Especially in places where the cops like to hang out at the bottom of these big hills and grab you for going 10-15 over because you were just coasting down the hill. I've noticed if you get too far off the mark it'll actually downshift and use the engine to slow you down too. Or maybe that was only in tow mode, I don't remember anymore.
