Wonder how hard it is to find those tires today? I bet he uses a lot of SOS pads to keep those babies clean.

My Dad used to get "fake whitewalls".
They were a white rubber ring. Maybe 1/16" thick x 3" wide and I.D. same as the tire. It was installed over the tire sidewall pinched in between the bead and wheel flange.
They stayed put, but Dad always added rubber cement for good measure.
Despite curb feelers, Mom was always scrubbing the curb ruining them.
Eventually Dad quit using them.

Wonder how hard it is to find those tires today?

It's as easy as a phone call to Coker Tire. They repop most all of the old school tires, more often than not from the original molds.
