Changing from factory steel wheels to 17" carbon 12 spokes... Same lug nut?

I purchased a set of 17 inch take offs from a local member and want to put them on in place of my steelies.

Can I / should I use the same lug nuts that came installed with the steelies? Thanks!

i swapped from the 17" magnetic wheels to 17" steelies and the same lugnuts worked for both
