i have one in mine, i get a lot of use out of it. im old school though so me and my friends all had a cb before cell phones lol. i typically use my 5 g for fun exploring trips so its useful on the back highways and out in the sticks all the good ol boys, truckers and first responders still have em. it was not too bad to install wire wise. the problem for me was not wanting to put holes in the dash or mount it to anything. not much in the way of flat surfaces in the new ranger without making it ugly or spending a lot of money on a fancy mount up system. some place around here is a thread full of ham / cb related stuff for the 5g rangers. a few of the guys have rollin radio shacks lol.
