Can't get my bed extender to latch with my tailgate....

They really aren't needed but since they come with it, I figured I would just use them.
Depending on what you're securing back there they should be attached. If you have lumber or flooring you can adjust the tension on the straps tighter so the bed extender doesn't move if you go over any bumps. It doesn't take much to get it bouncing and whatever is back the can come flying out at someone else. It's not worth the risk for the 10 seconds it takes to clip them in. :wink:

I can't use it. I got it for my dirt bike, but with a 5' bed, the rear wheel sticks out enough that the amp bed extender won't fit. End of story. :(

Brand new for sale now - never used if anyone's interested.
