Camper toppers like the Four Wheel Camper Project M

Been looking at different options of truck camper/toppers. Personally I'm not a fan of roof top tents. And there seems to just be a few options for 5' beds. Came across the Project M by Four Wheel Campers. Right at 400lbs and you can retain use of the bed for other occasions.

Anyone here with experience with topper campers like these? I think I'd prefer the whole popup over a wedge camper like GFC and AT Overland.

So after weighing my options I bought a 17 travel trailer. I really wanted a camper but the payload on a 4 door4x4 is only 1560. A camper equipped for my needs (ski bum rig) is 1200 add me my wife and we are already at payload with no water, propane or gear.
