Buying a 2019 Ranger FX4. Looking for advice!

Another comment here on the HVAC blend door. Almost all Rangers built before July 2020 will require this repair. It can still happen to trucks built after that date - mine is an example.

It is approximately $2k plus or minus for a dealer to do the repair.

We have a few threads here on the issue.

If the truck you are looking at does not mix the hot and cold air well, or clicks when changing temp (especially at start up), you are due for this repair.

Please dont buy a 2019 for that much where there are so many of these trucks out there with better mileage and less money
when I got mine last year it had 13k on it it already had a ton of mods, I paid $30 back then for a 21

My advice that you don't want to hear, don't pay $30k for a 5-year-old vehicle, especially one that was first year model with many know troubles.

IKR, Newer trucks are all over marketplace with 10k to 15k miles and $30k sometimes even Dealers post on there, thats how I bought mine last year, I had to drive 3 states to get it LOL Worth it!
How about a 22 with 14k on it, I seen a 23 for about the same price...
