I bought my Ranger Tremor recently and am already getting the itch to start modding it. I've already done the ford performance power pack calibration, which I recommend. I'm now looking for rock sliders and possibly a different bumper. Has anyone here installed the ARB/Ford performance bumper on a 2023 Tremor? The bumper looks to be fairly low profile and doesn't stick out too far.

Wow, the last time I looked at this one I didn't notice the requirements for having the airbag system recalibrated and some of the other limitations listed.

I wanted that bumper so bad when they first announced it, then saw they dropped all sensor support for no good reason... pretty much lost all interest at that point

I was looking at the airbag calibration bit and was curious if they just re-flash it with a new profile.

I have both parking sensors and the forward facing radar so it's a no-go from two perspectives. I'd also want some auxiliary lighting in front of the bumper and the warning seems to indicate that is also a no-go. There are some good aftermarket options though that support those features so I'd definitely pursue those if I decided on a new bumper.

I have an XLT so no front sensors on my end. The airbag calibration has me curious though.

Not sure what is involved, but guessing they either desensitize or make more sensitive to collision.

I just saw the ARB Summit Bumper kit and it looks really good. Gives the Aussie overlander vibe.

I think there is a different calibration for the sensors, from what I understand ARB designs their bumpers to meet OE crash safety standards.

If you do some sleuthing here, people have made that bumper work with forward sensors and adaptive cruise with a little effort.

The bumper can be drilled for the sensors and you can mount the bracket in almost the stock position according to one member. Or you can buy a relocation bracket and move it while you're installing the bumper.

I'm going to buy one because it takes the factory LED fogs on the Tremor, has support for a winch, it's pretty low profile, and I can throw my points from the vehicle purchase at it and drop the price a bit.

Looks like Ford has to install in order to get the airbag recalibration. So you can probably double the cost.
