I got the AVS Bugflector. It sits off the hood so you're able to clean behind it. I like the super low profile ones, but was nervous of the chemistry happening behind it after half a decade of PA weather without being cleaned. Also chose it because there was no drilling involved. Reuses the rubber gasket lock clips under the hood. No issues in 3 years. It's definitely done its job keeping that vertical part of the hood protected.

yup, I have this one. got mine from Ford with my points.

I'm not sure that I believe it deflects bugs over the windshield, but it does protect the leading edge of the hood from chips and bug impacts (some beetles can chip the paint).

Thx mate. The color and the 301A package are the two reasons I haven't taken the dealer up on their request to buy my truck back for $10k more than what I paid for it in 2020. A Ranger with the same packages and similar miles is $40k+ used at this point. No thanks.

Same for Truck, less the box. Their USA made items are second to none....visors are outsourced, but made in Germany.
We will all have our opinions, so just read thru the posts and pick what makes you comfortable. Honestly, all the brands we've indicated are good products.
