I saw the video on Facebook and forgot to see if a Ranger model was available. Their list says 2019 to 2021 Ranger. I know the 2022 is the same.
Too much for me, but I probably need to make a plywood adapter for mine to do sawing on the tail gate when remote rather than hauling my saw horses!
Anyone else do this?

Lets all agree to disagree that we agree that this is a product that while some agree, others disagree that it is a mod that we would either agree or disagree, to get . :like:

Why does the tailgate create such a divide on this forum. Damper or no damper. $3k thing or stock....

Nice to have, but kinda ugly. Functional, but for the amount of times I'd need to use it I can rig something up almost as safe and near as good for a lot less. I'll give it a pass.

My question relates to the cables.
they look stock, and with the extension, you can well imagine the extra load on the longer arm will load up those cables considerably more. Anyone else think those cables wont last if people aren't careful.

only thing that interests me about this product is the backup cam that works when the tailgate is down. certainly there's a way to make that work with an OEM tailgate.
My backup camera works fine with the tailgate down.

Of course all you see is the ground ?

They are either mounting an additional camera in the top of the tailgate, hopefully with some kind of protective cover or it would be destroyed quickly, or mounting an additional camera on teh license plate frame which would probably work pretty good.

Hmmm, that gives me an idea. I'll have to look into tapping into the power and video feeds from the tailgate camera...

it looked in the video like it's on the lip of the tailgate, which I don't like for the reasons you mention. I would rather it be tucked away and protected a bit, and I think that's reasonably possible.

I think the more interesting part of it is how the camera feed switches between the two views depending on the tailgate position.
