Looks neat, but I can foresee a gigantic margin of error here...
Accidental breakage and leaking were my first two regrets I could foresee.

Had that thought as well, last truck I had with the slider I never opened because remnants of mulch would fly into the cab. Don't really haul much and with a tonneau cover on the bed I figured I wouldn't have an issue as such. Been considering getting a slider then came across this and thought it looked interesting and unique.
I agree with a tonneau cover the problem of dirt would be lessened. It would be great for something like a slow off-roading trip but not at highway speeds
