Got under the truck to install the DD SS3 fogs, which were not too bad, and noticed what looked like oil seepage on my lower control arm. I did just get the oil changed and parked the truck, haven't gone anywhere, and there was a spot on the garage from that little drain pain around the filter.

However, I dont' think the below images are from the oil change at the dealer (who didnt' install two small bolts in my skid plate and only put in one clip on the fender lining). What do you guys think? Time for the Bilstein level kit?

looks a lil thick and gummy to be semi fresh motor oil. id say the strut has given up. no shocker on the fx shocks and struts. sad the dealer could not do even the most basic thing and return your truck how it should be. did they at least give you the bolts back so you can put them in?

You'd never know by how it drives fx suspension vs blown FX, no difference.:handsinair:
LOL right?! I really wonder how long it has been like this and I just kept rolling on the "soft" FX4 suspension!!!

Dealer was real timid on installing anything other than stock parts for warranty work. They were able to get me in Wednesday morning, so I'll ride on the stockers a bit longer. They are replacing both sides.

Same dealer. Only two dealer choices local to me, this one being 20 mins out and the other an hour out. Luckily the techs that are swapping the struts are not the same as the techs that change the oil. The "fast lane" guys, not being mean, are not the same level as the "shop work" guys in this instance.

You are probably right about that. Oil changes and tire rotations are left to 'newbies' where to the goal is to get as many done in a day and as quickly as possible, hence 'Fast Lane'.

At the Toyota dealership where my son works, those “fast lane” workers doing simple jobs like oil changes and tire rotations are not even dealer employees. They are outside contractors.
