The next 5 days still cold and stormy through the mid states and the east coast.

5-10 day shows a short warm up coming for some but then it gets cold again.

Looks like I’m right on the 1-3 inch snowfall line near Williamsburg

It's true, a fair number of them are best left alone - unless you are tired of life. Unfortunately some of the most deadly are also the most common.

I do like the snakes though. I’ll take them any day over bugs.

I drive 14 miles in the Grand Cherokee with this one to get him to a safer place. People were giving me strange looks. I thought “it’s just an old guy driving a hemi Grand Cherokee”. Oh yeah, the curled snake thing.

It's starting to thaw out around here a little bit.

I'm not complaining about it being a dry cold. My truck is going to be three tone by the time all of this melts lol.
I took this standing by the old oak tree, looking sort of North East.

Our last house had a barn with laid up stone basement. We had a copperhead problem and they were quite aggressive if startled. I loaded 38 snake shot for the ones that were aggressive. I was the quartermaster for our boyscout troop and stored the 50 containers of equipment for camping in there. We were loading trucks up for a big camping event and the scoutmaster grabbed a container with a big one on top. Needles yo say he screamed like a little girl before grabbing a shovel to toss it outside and decapitate it. We found another place to store everything after that. I hate copperheads and they reproduce like rabbits.

Yep, not getting squat from this one aside from cold and wind. Upper 30's low 40's next week. Bring on the thaw, for a while.
On another note, while moving my Snowsport plow, I crushed my middle finger tip. Let me tell you something about pain. This fucking HURT1

If they are way out on the back roads somewhere like this one was, I will snap a picture and leave them go on their way. HOWEVER, if they are in the yards where children are or my animals, and I can’t catch them with the tongs, yeah, sorry dude but you gotta go. Rest in pieces.
