years ago i had made some homemade beef jerky, and thought it turned out really well. recently i took it up again. been using a generic, simple recipe. i just used regular soy sauce and skipped the salt, and add a little hot sauce for some bite. makes enough to marinate 2 lbs of beef, and i marinate it in the fridge for around 20 hours. wally world usually has a package about that size of london broil, and its pretty lean so works. no food dehydrator required, 8 hours in the oven at around 170 degrees, rotating the sheet 90 degrees about every hour, and flipping the strips around 4 hrs in. wallah, a sheet of delicious goodness! i freeze it to make it last.
