Sounds a little personal, haha

Fair enough. I have their PRO-X crossbars and they are rock solid and super strong.
very much personal lmao when mine got bent i called them and asked wtf is this crap? i paid around 900 back then and within a few months it looked over 5 years old and bent in a few spots.... they then attacked me saying well you went offroad with it and it bent so its your fault! hold up so you are telling me your "offroad" rack to hold gear and a tent isnt meant for offroad? gee that would have been nice to know....

All the racks for our trucks are going to mount by drill and bolt or use C-Clamps.
ah i gotcha personally im gonna try and stay away from drilling since my truck is almost at 3k miles... dont want to start cutting and drilling on this truck tbh lmao been there done that
The Yakima Bedrock is technically a clamp too, but doesn't require tools to tighten which is kinda cool. After the bolts are a little snug by hand, the lock cover has a cam action that tightens them so that they snug up really tight. It's a cool design. I guess a really big pair of channel locks might be able to just turn the bolt, which has no head, but it wouldn't be an easy endeavor.
ya i like the design ill have to send them an email to see if my bars will work even thou its a bit more then what id want to spend tbh
so are you going to drill into your bed rails or use the clamps to pull down on it?

For right now I'm using the clamps to hold it to the sides of the bed rails. I should be test fitting it to my S10 tomorrow so I can get pics for you then. Some years down the road when I upgrade to a retracting tonneau cover then I'll modify it to be drilled and bolted directly to the rails.

Some tonneau covers and racks can be mated using T-slots. Cover clamps to the bed while T-slots mount the rack on the cover rails.
gotcha ill have to do some looking to see all the different ways to mount em

i know drilling holes is the easiest way to go but man i really dont want to haha
