They are all over Amazon too. I've been thinking about one for my canoe. The fact the canoe is harder to transport than it was with my Ford focus is nearly impressive.

I have one I ordered from etrailer - works great. I use it for 13' kayak and lumber (full disclosure I am still waiting on my Ranger but I've used it on other short bed trucks). I would spend the extra $10 and order it from etrailer - the site you posted seems a little sketchy since they're doing the "It's $300, no - $200, no -$99!" thing. They're always $100-$110 and etrailer customer service is great every time I order from them.

Hey! This guy doesn't even have a ranger. Get him!

Any photos with the kayak?

I Real handy with our short beds. Anyone use this product or something similar? Only $99.

Lol, the Ranger is being built next week. Here it is in the back of a friend's Ridgeline when I was bringing it home from kayak shop. I was a little nervous it would move around at first but I did 4 hours at 80mph and it never moved. Tied kayak into corner tie down and then strapped to the extender.

Looking at the photo, it looks like the extender is really close to the ground; it's an optical illusion. Near the truck it's the same height as the hitch and it curves up as it gets further out. It can be made wide enough to hold at least two kayaks side by side, maybe 3-4 if you put them on their sides. It can also be configured to use as a roof extender for SUVs but I've never used it that way. Honestly for $100 it's probably the best accessory I've ever purchased.

Not much. If I pulled the upright posts off the whole thing would be about 30" by 12". Smaller than one of those lawn chairs in a bag..

Yeah sketchy I agree. Frankly I wasn't aware of these and thought I had found something fairly new.?

Good news is that it shipped the same day I ordered it and it appears to me to be the exact same one that etrailer sells and agree they are a very good company.

Nice! Yeah, I didn't know they existed until I needed to bring a long ass kayak home in a borrowed short bed truck (so buying a bed rack was out). The only thing it doesn't come with is a hitch pin.
