Hey all,

Just picked up a 2020 XLT Super Cab. I'm looking into options for small powered subs that might fit under a seat. I'm not looking for anything to shake the windows, just to give me a little low end. Something like this:

So the input for a powered sub like this is either a line level RCA, or powered speaker inputs. Does the stock Sync 3 system have a line out or is using the speaker in the preferred way to integrate a sub like this?

Speaker line in, no sub output on sync 3 but you can use forscan and create line level output but that would be for installing a complete system.

Can someone confirm that Forscan can turn the rear channels to line level but keep the fronts speaker level?

I want to add a powered sub or a Stealthbox with a small <300W amp but don’t want to lose the powered outputs for the fronts (don’t want to swap them yet).

Would Forscan allow rear = line level and front = speaker level or is it a global setting?
