I got them off the Amtrak website using their trip planner.

$258 from LA to NY when I take a look for tomorrow. Must be different stations. ?‍ Still a hell of a long time to be on a train.

Here is what I just pulled up a few mins ago - for the 4 segments, choosing a room for each segment - for 1 passenger - it routed thru Sacramento:

Coach seats were like $181 for each segment but even that is almost $800 round trip.....
