I have had my door hesitate to unlock whenever I try to use the keyless entry.

it seems like I could count to 3 or 4 before the door unlocks.

i have the Wireless keypad and I use it sometimes when I don’t have my keys and it works a lot faster.

That does seem long. I lower my hand in the handle and it unlocks within 1-2 secs and locks about the same touching the rectangular indention.

That’s exactly how mine works. Sometimes I pull it to quickly it doesn't unlock until I give it a second. But, I have noticed if I just move my hand slower and place it on the handle it unlocks almost instantly. I really like the feature.

All doors work perfect except drivers door. It doesn't work at all most of the time. I just got it back from ford they put new body control module in worked about half day now it may work then it wont. Going back to dealer Tuesday.

i have owned several cars with keyless touch lock and unlock and they All were faster than my Ranger.

No issues with mine. I just wish it auto locked when I walk away like my Mazda does.
