ARB Awning + Tent

Probably going to end up ordering this soon. Not bad for around $600 for both components.

Do they make universal'ish brackets to go directly onto a rack (RCI 18" in this case) or do I need to go ahead and get a cargo basket for my rack (which was on the list anyhow)?

I've found some brackets, but usually for specific types of racks/connections, none have been RCI I've found.

The awning comes with L brackets. I have a generic 6.5x6.5 awning that I use to attach the ARB awning room. They aren’t a pair, but it works. It’s a nice easy setup. Mine is mounted to the Rhino Rack Pioneer platform. Straight bolt on for me.

Good to hear, I'll find out one way or other.

A family member is handicap so RTT as primary sleeping quarters is out of the question. Think we are going to go with those KampRite cot tents to go in it. Will be a tight fit, but those can be moved outside until used.

The ARB delux awning is like 9'x9' or whatever 2500mm x 2500mm directly translate to.

My main requirement is just a tent I don't have to setup with all those stupid support wires/bars.

I was also looking at these cool canopy "pods" - but they only make 10x10 and if I did that I'd just want to use a bigger ez-up canopy and buy a bigger pod (that doesn't exist). But I'll give up the extra 1'x1' space for having the awning static to the truck rack.
