Ford's promotional film. Other info states Holman & Moody gained possession of the rig during the 1970s and sold it off over the years. The trailers haven't been located but the tractor was restored and still existed as late as 2021.

Hi Joe,

When I hired into Ford in 1973, Heavy Truck Engineering was still developing the next generation turbine powered heavy truck.... The program was scrapped a year later but the Ford Turbine saw duty on oil rigs as power units as unlike other engines, the turbine was silky smooth with no vibrations... Here is a pix of the turbine....
